ESO 4: PLANNING A DAY ITINERARY IN LONDON

Hi everybody!

Your trip to London is just around the corner and now it's time for you to plan a day itinerary in groups of 4-5 people. Later on, each group will have to present the plan for the day to the rest of the students.

Remember that an itinerary is a detailed plan for a journey, especially a list of places to visit and a plan of travel.

Do some research about the places to visit and the planned activities and get directions to them. (underground lines, stations, changes)

Fictitious example to go from Black Pearl Square to Captain Sparrow Monument:
Take the Red Line via Potter Station, and change for the Yellow Line direction Eastwood. Stop at Throne station.

PLANNING YOUR DAY ITINERARY: 

Monday 12th June

Arrival from Heathrow at Smart Hide Park Inn (hostel)
Visit to Piccadilly Circus/ Trafalgar Square / Soho / Carnaby Street/ Oxford Street

Return to hostel

Tuesday 13th June

Buckingham Palace/ St. James's Park/Big Ben+Houses of Parliament
London Eye/ River Thames Cruise to Greenwich
Tower Bridge at night

Wednesday 14th June

Tate Gallery/ Camden Town/ Return to hostel
Musical: Mamma Mia at Novello Theatre

Thursday 15th June

Natural History Museum/ Harrod's department store
Lunch at Hyde Park
Madame Tussaud's/ Covent Garden

Friday 16th June

British Museum/ Notting Hill district
Return to hostel for luggage
Heathrow Airport
