ESO 3: SLANG

1. You've just read an article about slang in you digital book.
2.Now, watch the following video and answer the following on a separate sheet of paper.



-Definition of slang according to the video
-Some slang words that can mean "money"
-Some slang words that can mean "great"
-Slang words used before and considered offensive today
-Definition of "babe", "barbie", "cheerio", "dish" and "emo"


4. Your teacher will give you another article about slang. Read it carefully, do the activities.


5. Now that you're an expert on slang, imagine you have to write an article for a blog for teenagers. Your article must contain the following information. Please, use your own words or you'll be penalized!!!

ACTIVITY ESO 3 - PROJECT: MAKING A DOCUMENTARY ON A SPORT

In the following sessions we’ll be working in groups. You’re going to create a video/documentary on a sport you like.

TASK:

-Choose a sport you are interested in ( volleyball, tennis, football, cricket, skateboarding, …).
-Find information on : history, equipment, game rules, important competitions, important players…
-Write your script for the documentary using Google Drive and share it with your teacher for revision.
-Find some images to illustrate your video.
-Make the video.
-Record your script and add it to the video.
-Save your video in Scratx Folder or share it with your teacher on Google Drive.
-Show your documentaries to the rest of the class.

Watch and listen to Cristiano Ronaldo talking after being awarded the second Ballon d'Or of his career.
Then, read the article you'll find below the video. Then, answer the questions below.


1. Write the meaning of the following words:
